The gates that lead to nowhere. Beyond the gates and rest of the Ha-Ha is a shear drop that then gradually slopes back up to the field, thus denying livestock access to the lawn and flower beds. The Ha-Ha is an ingenious method of separating garden from farmland without interrupting the view.
