PHASE ONE - 2010

Redwood Stone are sponsoring, designing and building their largest folly to date at
Capel Manor Gardens in Enfield. The ruined 15th century fortified Manor House
will be the central feature of the new autograph garden at Capel.

Phase One of the three year plan saw the completion of the Queen’s Garden
and beginnings of the other elements of the ruin rising from the ground.

Build

Surrounded by a moat and incorporating a natural swimming pond, both sponsored and
built by Anglo Aquariums, The Old Manor House Garden is already a hit with visitors.

The lavish planting has been designed and implemented by Capel Manor head gardeners,
Julie Phipps and Mark Cook

The Bell Tower and Cloister was the first part of the ruin to be completed.
Opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in June 2010 and named the Queen’s Garden.
